What to Expect
YIN is a passive, floor-based practice that targets the body’s deeper connective tissues through postures held for up to five minutes.
Rather than using muscular effort to move deeply into a pose, you will settle into stillness and allow time, gravity, and support from props to gradually create space in the body.
Expect little to no muscular engagement and to spend most or all of the class on the floor in a calm, contemplative environment.
