What to Expect
YIN + Myofascial Release combines long-held, passive Yin postures with targeted pressure techniques using myofascial release balls and blocks.
Yin postures are held for up to five minutes, allowing time and gravity to access the deeper connective tissues of the body. Myofascial release uses sustained pressure to help reduce tightness and create greater freedom in the muscles and fascia.
Expect little to no muscular engagement and to spend most or all of the class on the floor. Props and myofascial release balls are provided.
