Held, Inspired and Challenged
"Training through Yoga Pod is one of the best things I’ve ever done, with no exaggeration. The consideration taken by the program director and the studio in scheduling guest instructors, developing engaging content, and supporting the individual passions of the participants is something that cannot be understated! I felt so held, inspired, and challenged working with Shaelyn Delgado and Kumari Sky as lead instructors, and with each new module and guest instructor came a new set of opportunities for interest and exploration. Coming from a more asana-based 200hr program, I felt like gaps in my knowledge were filled— especially in my understanding of anatomy (Shaelyn) and my comfort in guiding soft-body/energetic classes (Kumari, Cheryl Oliver). Yoga Pod Tucson is community-based to its bones, and the folks who are a part of the studio in any way have a pride and comfort that is felt by those who have the pleasure of “peeking in”. I’m grateful to have peeked in when I did and found such a family to join."
