"The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Pod Tucson was an incredible experience. I graduated from the program feeling well-versed in yoga anatomy and physiology, philosophy, practical teaching skills, ethics, sequencing methodology, and more. After teaching my practicum I feel fully prepared to begin teaching the public and confident that I am well-trained. I would recommend this program for anyone and everyone looking to become a really good yoga teacher."

"Shae and Yoga Pod did a great job crafting a thoughtful program. If there were gaps, of which there were few, Shae was always on top of remedying situations. The studio itself deserves credit for the success of the program, but Shae is truly the heartbeat of the program and everything you could expect or want out of a lead instructor."

"It was one of the best experiences of my life! The learning material was excellent and taught by masterful teachers, beautiful energy, I love that we were challenged to teach a full class, and everyone grew and connected so much throughout the process!"

"I am so happy that I did my 300 hour YTT with Yoga Pod Tucson. As with any training, you will get out of it what you put into it, but there was so much knowledge between Shaelyn who ran the program, Kumari who co-facilitated it, and all of their guest trainers from around the country. The training covered such a wide variety of topics between anatomy and creating therapeutic classes, yang and yin, sequencing, myofascial release, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and guided meditation, yoga history and philosophy, energetic bodies, trauma informed yoga and being a welcome space, prenatal yoga, Sanskrit, and sacred sound. I felt very supported during the process, to both participate in and question everything. This also lead to teaching opportunities in studio. I believe this has made me a more knowledgeable teacher and now I have friends for life in this community here in Tucson. I highly recommend."

"Training through Yoga Pod is one of the best things I’ve ever done, with no exaggeration. The consideration taken by the program director and the studio in scheduling guest instructors, developing engaging content, and supporting the individual passions of the participants is something that cannot be understated! I felt so held, inspired, and challenged working with Shaelyn Delgado and Kumari Sky as lead instructors, and with each new module and guest instructor came a new set of opportunities for interest and exploration. Coming from a more asana-based 200hr program, I felt like gaps in my knowledge were filled— especially in my understanding of anatomy (Shaelyn) and my comfort in guiding soft-body/energetic classes (Kumari, Cheryl Oliver). Yoga Pod Tucson is community-based to its bones, and the folks who are a part of the studio in any way have a pride and comfort that is felt by those who have the pleasure of “peeking in”. I’m grateful to have peeked in when I did and found such a family to join."

"I am incredibly pleased with the Yoga Pod Tucson 300 hour teaching training program. I am very glad I made the decision to join. Shae is a true yoga scholar with a well-rounded background and training skillset. In particular she has a working knowledge of functional anatomy, both as it relates to yoga as well as movement in general. Her yoga flows are creative and dynamic, I learned so much about becoming a deeper teacher with a solid anatomy background. Her myofascial training woven into vinyasa is such a skillset and unique offering to be able to teach! Our other lead Kumari is a gifted yin, restorative, pranayama and subtle body teacher. Her teachings are accessible and tangible, preparing me to confidently teach each format. Shae brought in expert teachers from around the country to deepen our understanding of every area of yoga. It was truly an in-depth study of yoga to really ground me as I continue on my teaching journey. I had hoped to deepen my study of yoga, but what I feel at the end of training is like a completely transformed teacher, vibrating with confidence and a solid backing of skillsets. I highly recommend this training!"

"Enrolling in this yoga teacher training program was one of the best decisions I've made for my personal and professional growth. The curriculum was incredibly comprehensive, covering everything from anatomy and alignment to philosophy and teaching methodology. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, fostering a nurturing environment where I felt comfortable exploring and expanding my practice. Moreover, the sense of community among fellow trainees was invaluable, providing a network of support and encouragement that extended beyond the training itself. As a result, I not only gained the skills and confidence to become a successful yoga teacher but also developed lifelong friendships and a deeper connection to the practice. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to embark on their journey as a yoga teacher."

Yoga Alliance Review
"Yoga Pod Tucson’s 300-hour teacher training was truly one of the most enriching experiences I’ve had as both a teacher and a student of yoga. This program deepened my understanding of anatomy-based sequencing, giving me the tools to craft classes that are not only creative but also smart, safe, and intentional. I came out of this training with so much more confidence in my ability to design sequences that serve different bodies and class styles. One of my favorite aspects of the training was getting to immerse myself in different styles like Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. Exploring these practices in depth gave me a whole new appreciation for their benefits and how to effectively weave them into my teaching. Lead teacher Shaelyn Delgado made the experience truly special. She has a gift for lifting teachers up, challenging us to think critically about yoga, and helping us refine our unique voices. Her guidance was thoughtful, supportive, and empowering. She didn’t just teach, but she created space for us to step into our own as teachers. The entire training was well-structured, immersive, and filled with insightful discussions, hands-on practice, and a strong sense of community. If you're looking for a training that will push you to grow while feeling completely supported, I can't recommend this one enough!"

"YPT 200hr training was incredible! I learned so much about yoga as a practice and learned so much about myself. There is a heavy emphasis on anatomy and how to make yoga for everyBODY. The training left me feeling confident in being able to lead a yoga class. Truly a life changing experience."

"I am so grateful that my experience for yoga teacher training was with Yoga Pod Tucson. I have been waiting a long time to find the studio that resonated when it comes to teacher training, Yoga Pod Tucson excels in so many aspects. The owners are fantastic, the leadership, the teachers, the studio itself, every single aspect of it stands in its truth and integrity and it really does shine. The YTT was multi-dimensional and it really brought so much to light. I came from Washington State to do this program with their BIPOC scholarship, and I am thankful for every bit of it :) Thanks Yoga Pod Tucson! Shout out to Shaelyn, an excellent leader."

"Yoga Pod is my second home! Friendly staff. Highly trained instructors. And local owners!
There are multiple studios to accommodate multiple classes at once. Classes include yoga (heated and not), fit classes, barre, yin and sound as well as the Hot-26 set sequence.
There are locker rooms with showers. A welcome waterfall for ambience. They also offer all props to borrow free of charge (which is nicer than most studios that charge for mats and towels!) but the absolutely best part is the cool lavender essential oil towel you get at the end of each class for savasana."
— Leah B.
Yelp Review
"One of the top yoga studios in Tucson! Fabulous community here. Great vibes. Lots of events and community classes. I stop here pretty regularly. I enjoy the infrared heated classes at Yoga Pod & the variety of times / classes offered. They do offer child care & they actually have the best retail I've seen at a yoga studio in Tucson. Conveniently located next to Ren Coffee house, also a favorite!
You'll find 3 showers, 3 bathrooms, lockers, vanity spaces, and ALL the amenities! Just bring yourself! They have mats, towels, and everything you need for a great workout."

"I am visiting Tucson and attended the 10:45am Yin and sound bowl. The reception was lovely and I was able to borrow a mat for no extra charge. The class was WONDERFUL and relaxing. I loved the lavender oil that was offered at the beginning of class and the lovely cool scented towel at the end was a nice touch. It was a clean and welcoming studio with lots of classes offered for many levels and types of practice!"

Yelp Review
I have lived all over the US but Yoga Pod Tucson is hands down the best yoga studio I have ever been to. The most kind and attentive people (all the yoga teachers and the sweetest most humble studio owners).
There are numerous classes to chose from ( Vinyasa / Flow style, Kundalini, Yin, etc. - too many classes to name!) throughout the day.
Their yoga teachers' knowledge, skills and teaching styles are nothing short of amazing. I love going and trying different classes and different teachers and I am so happy to have found a Yoga Studio that feels like home. It is truly the most welcoming place of business. It is how a Yoga Studio should feel like. They even have a mini daycare which I think is amazing for parents who need an hour to themselves to practice yoga so they can be the best parent they can be!
Clean and spotless studio with equally clean equipment and showers and bathrooms/locker rooms, easy scheduling and great membership perks - Thank you, Yoga Pod, Tucson."

Yelp Review
"After taking part in this yoga community for over a year I can honestly say membership here is an investment in life. The large variety of classes keep my mind and body in tune, and the entire staff and management vibrate on a level that is welcoming and encouraging. I've pridefully brought friends along for complementary classes and have made meaningful connections with many of my regular classmates. I laugh and actively struggle here often and always leave with more energy.
On top of what they offer interpersonally, the showers are superb and they keep extra hair ties and other helpful things in stock. Yoga Pod Tucson makes it easy to squeeze a little self love and rejuvenation into any day of the week! Start with a trial and stay for good!"

This place is amazing! I am new to Yoga and could not ask for a more welcoming and accepting atmosphere. They are upfront about their pricing and have so many classes available for every work schedule. Their online payment and scheduling system is so easy to use. Shaelyn and Mallory are amazing instructors, but honestly their entire team is FIVE STAR. Love!"

Yoga pod is nestled in St. Philip's Plaza, very hip and eclectic. The studio is a happy, clean & serene environment. Classes are lovely and well rounded and the cold lavender towel at the end was a nice surprise. The Yoga Nidra offering is a huge plus for me when choosing a studio too! It is a bit of a drive from my house but it is well worth it!"

Yelp Review
"This is a truly fabulous yoga experience. There is plenty of yoga here in Tucson that is less expensive, but Yoga Pod has one of the most beautiful locker rooms and studio rooms I have been in! I appreciate how they greet you, check you in, and do not overpack the rooms. I have taken many yoga warm slow flow classes here, and am definitely intrigued by their other offerings, too! They provide mats , and towels and blocks to everyone. One of my favorite parts of the classes are the cold lavender towel at the end - what a treat! As stated before, the locker room is gorgeous and clean, with amenities from mouthwash to deodorant to hair ties with a space for you to securely lock away your purse and other belongings so you don't have to leave unattended. My favorite instructors thus far are Leah and Oscar. One last perk is to enjoy a post-workout coffee or smoothie across the patio at Ren Coffeehouse!"

"Yoga Pod truly offers the opportunity for anyone at any level in their yoga practice to feel welcome. The extensive selection of classes are varied and the instructors are all excellent. Each one makes it very clear that they are guiding you through a practice and you are the one making the decisions about how challenging the class will be. You can see that the owners truly care about the community and providing a beautiful and comfortable space for all of their clients to practice in."

I love everything about Yoga Pod! I tried (first time doing yoga ever) one class a month ago and was instantly hooked! Now I go almost every day. The place is beautiful and relaxing and the staff is the best! The owners Brian and Lisa are 2 of the kindest people I have ever met. They truly care about their customers and go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. I am so glad to be a member of Yoga Pod.

"As a 54-year-old male, I was hesitant to do yoga. I had all kinds of perceptions and what I found is a place that is accepting of all body types. I was made to feel comfortable and welcome. There was a relaxed atmosphere. Practicing breathwork and focusing my mind has been a deeply healing and spiritual journey, allowing me to truly connect with my body. I would recommend it for anyone that is on a healing journey dealing with complex PTSD who wants to get in tune with their body. The staff is wonderful here. The price is reasonable. They have a variety of classes and they make it easy to self schedule using their app."

I was in Tucson last month visiting my 90-year-old dad from Cleveland and decided to grab a week pass here, so glad I did. I made it to several classes, and the 6am hot yoga quickly became my favorite way to start the day. Every instructor I had was excellent, and the front desk staff were consistently friendly and professional.
As someone just passing through, I really appreciated how easy everything was, clean locker rooms, and mats and props available to borrow made it super convenient. The whole place felt really well run and spotless. The cold towels after class were a great touch too. And really cool coffee shop directly across.
Highly recommend this studio to anyone in Tucson, especially if you’re visiting like I was.

"I just wanted to write a review because I miss this place. I have moved from Tucson and this place was the reason I fell in love with yoga. I have attended various classes of this studio and it really awakened a part of me that wants to deepen my knowledge with my practice and myself. This studio has variety of classes that competes with the modern market and also classes that will deepen your spirituality practice. I’d recommend to try them all a couple of times and see what’s best for you. Sometimes, you don’t even know what your body needs until you’re there.
I will never forget my teachers here that made me love yoga a lot. Everyone who comes here smiles at you the moment you come in. The community here honestly feels tight-knit and I’ve been in search to find another community like this again.
Ms. Hari Rai thank you for giving us the best hot26 classes to start our mornings. I can still hear your voice when I practice in the morning by myself. Your teachings left infinite footprints in my head.
And to everyone, thank you for all the support. I will never forget you all and I wish you all the best in life."

"A beautiful place with soul. Even as a guest, I immediately felt at ease. Everyone is very friendly, and the instructors are highly competent. I've attended the "Hot Yoga Flow" several times. I highly recommend it! Dropping in was very relaxed and easy to book. The yoga classes vary in length, from short 60-minute sessions to longer courses. The structure of each yoga class is very thoughtful. Love it!“

"This is my second year committed to Yoga Pod at St. Philip’s Plaza, and I can honestly say it’s a real gem for Tucson. The location is lovely, the studio is beautifully designed, always clean, and clearly cared for with pride.
Each class has its own energy, every instructor brings their unique style and genuine love for what they do. They make every session enjoyable, motivating, and appropriately challenging. Even though my schedule only allows for morning and evening classes, I’ve been so impressed by the consistency and quality across all formats - Barre, Yoga Pod Flow, Fit, and Restorative.
The instructors are professional, passionate, and each has a different personality, yet all share the same commitment to creating a positive, supportive space. This studio truly embodies community, wellness, and authenticity."

My wife recommended Yoga Pod last summer after hearing good things from co-workers. From my first introduction and tour of the facility, I was impressed. They had a wide variety of classes and times which was crucial for me, and I understand they may even be expanding the facility and schedule even more in the next year or two. The Monday-Wednesday-Friday 6am Hot 26 classes have been just my cup of tea and I thank Alex and Hari Rai for always leading terrific classes and getting me completely hooked again. Brian and Lisa have done a magnificent job with the studio. The facility is always clean and well-appointed and the community of students, staff, and teachers are always friendly and welcoming. "This review is about 4 years overdue but those years have made me realize that all of the other studios I have visited in that time just don’t compare to Yoga Pod Tucson. I call it my heart studio. Nowhere else have I been able to learn so many different styles of yoga from such amazing teachers. SHIVA with Annie was the class that changed everything for me (I still have cravings for it) and everything with Kumari Sky was absolutely life altering. I have yet to find another instructor who embodies yoga the way that she does. I sadly left Tucson after only a year and it still hurts! I have found a wonderful studio in my new city that I hope to fall in love with, too, but my heart still yearns for YPT!"

"What a great business!
I'm about as flexible as a 2x4 and can't do a Child's Pose, but I ride my bike a lot. And when I got a flat right in front of this business, not only did the owner lend me a wrench to take my wheel off (I had lent mine to a friend who I am sure is in the process of returning it), he let me use his bathroom to wash my hands and then let me charge my dead-battery bike pump to get me back on the road.
He did all this with a smile on his face and genuine good will. His place is spotless and oozes serenity, and his kind gesture turned a shit*y situation into a great, life-affirming experience.
Not that I'm decrepit, but I'm old enough to remember when customer service was still a thing and businesses were in business for people instead of just profits, and this place is simply exemplary.
Well done and thank you and your entire staff, who were friendly, smiling and helpful to a sweaty, dirty, oil-covered cyclist!!!"

"The studio is gorgeous, very well maintained, clean and suitable for all practice levels and ages. The staff are genuinely friendly and teachers are knowledgeable and kind. You feel welcome here.
They have 2 lovely studio rooms with a wide range of classes - from hot yoga (of different temperature levels, which is nice because I don't want to be too hot), Yin Yoga, playPOD (where you bring your kids, so cute!) and more.
I really appreciate that the studio has 2 studio spaces instead of one large room. It seems to avoid massive crowds of people in one room. I think you have a better interaction with your teacher, along with being able to focus in a comfortable space with less people.
I couldn't recommend this place more...so if you're thinking about it, just go"
