Thank you for your interest in working for Yoga Pod Tucson! We approach employment the same way that we approach our classes, with community first. The best way to join our community is through our Karma Yogi program.

Our Karma Yogi program is one weekly 3 hour shift in exchange for our BLUE unlimited membership, valued at $159. Our Karma Yogi's are the backbone of our studio, providing support to all staff and our guests through cleaning studio props and mats, folding laundry, and maintaining a tidy space in all areas of our studio. Karma Yogi's work as a team with our instructors and front of house staff so we can provide the best possible experience for our studio guests. Participating in our Karma Yogi program allows you to take as many classes as possible to become integrated into our community, engage wholeheartedly in energy exchange with the studio, and understand our workings as a team member, or member of our podSQUAD. We ask for a 3 month commitment to this role, though many of our Karma Yogi's find it's a beneficial way to pay for a membership on a longer-term basis.

When there are openings for Member Ambassador (our Front Desk), which is a paid additional position, we hire from our team of Karma Yogi's. We honor and appreciate that you understand how to keep our studio tidy and have a thorough understanding of support to the "back end" of the studio. Please note being hired from the Karma Yogi program is not a guarantee.

Other perks for participants of the Karma Yogi program are 30% off of retail, workshops and teacher training (after 6 months of Karma Yogi exchange and/or employment with the studio). We also have one application based Yoga Teacher's training scholarship that allows one of our employees to participate in training without charge.
