Adrianna Taylor

Yoga Teacher

What brought you to yoga?
I was sitting at my desk during one of my husband's deployments, anxious, sad, and lonely as I pushed myself mentally to engage in doctoral work and physically to train for a CrossFit competition. I had just learned about a diagnosis of hereditary hypertension and knew I needed something to help heal my body and mind so I googled the nearest yoga studio, walked into a noon power flow class, found my community and calling, and never looked back!

What’s your yoga background and what are you most passionate about teaching?
Power flow is my first love, I teach Rocket, which is a close second, and I also teach something very special, called Inside Flow. I love high energy and diverse playlists, authentic vibes, and for folx to tap into their most empowered and embodied selves in my classes. Getting into (and safely falling out of!) inversions and arm balances is the most fun--bonus points if you fall smiling and try again because this is how we grow together!

What would your students be surprised to know about you?
Hmm. They would probably be surprised to know that I was an officer in the Air Force up until just a couple of years ago!
