Gus Isaac

Karma Yogi Program Coordinator

What brought you to yoga?
In 2022, I turned to yoga to heal my body from the wear and tear of competitive sports. As a former athlete with multiple serious injuries, including torn ACL and Achilles, a broken ankle, and torn meniscus, I sought a practice that would restore my well-being. Yoga has not only met but surpassed my expectations, providing physical and emotional healing while also giving me spiritual growth.

What’s your yoga background and what are you most passionate about teaching?
I carry an immense passion for our studio, seeing it as a vibrant hub of growth and transformation. Taking the helm of the team responsible for our operational backbone ignites a fire within me, driving me to ensure our space is always infused with energy and readiness.

What would your students be surprised to know about you?
I played competitive soccer my whole life and I can say that once upon time I scored vs the U17 US National Soccer team AND I can speak four languages (English, Spanish, French and Portuguese).
